Angelina Jolie was considered the most hated celebrity in the world not too long ago despite her humanitarian efforts that valued in tens of millions.Even her initiative to adopt children from less fortunate homes was zealously
analyzed, branded as a career play to improve her already tarnished image.
Why was she considered the most hated celebrity in the world after all hergenerosity? Jolie was the highest paid actress in Hollywood. She also had avery polarizing persona, which was in great contrast to her charitable deeds.
Every care package she delivered were dubbed "for camera." The tabloidsblamed the severed marriage of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, "America's Sweetheart," on her; even after the persistent denials of the three partiesinvolved. This sounds familiar, right? @therealmarian is experiencing asimilar dilemma.
Fans, haters, and those who are indifferent cannot getenough of her. WE CAN'T IGNORE HER. Yes, she may be rough around the edges, but it is one of the reasons why we magnify her every move and why we paygreat attention when she's on screen. She is the round peg in the squarehole.
She does not mold according to convention. She is not fond of unwrittenrules or the status quo. She is a modern woman. If these are the qualities that make "the most hated people in the world", then so be it. In fact, addme on the list.
I would not mind being stuck on an island with both AngelinaJolie and Marian Rivera and just converse away. Their unpredictable andcomplex nature make them the two most interesting women in the world in mybook.
